Preview:
The 41st edition of WrestleMania PLE will be a two-night affair with the first part taking place on April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, USA. The second part of the PLE will take place on April 20 at the same venue.
The promotion has announced a stacked card for night one, which features the World Heavyweight title clash, WWE Women’s title clash, a triple-threat match, and much more. The 41st edition of the PLE will be the first Mania to stream on Netflix (except the US). Let us now take a look at the detailed preview, match card, timings, and telecast details for the 41st edition of WWE WrestleMania night one. Following her return Jade Cargill has vowed vengeance for the cowardly backstage attack by someone whom she considered a friend and she will now get a chance at the ‘Grandest Stage’ as she look to punish Naomi who since turning heel has showcased a vicious and dark side and has warned Cargill to “proceed with caution”. After defeating New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate), the New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) became the number one contenders for the World Tag Team Championship. They will now battle the current champions, War Raiders (Erik & Ivar), at the Mania PLE this Saturday.
Rey Mysterio has had enough of El Grande Americano’s attacks and disrespecting the ancient and highly regarded tradition of ‘lucha libre’. Mysterio now wants to teach Americano what it truly means to be a luchador. Jacob Fatu defeated Braun Strowman in a last man standing match to punch his ticket to Mania and become the number one contender for the United States title. Fatu is now set to battle the current champion, LA Knight. Fatu is looking to capture his first singles title in the promotion, while Knight wants to continue his second title reign. After winning the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match, Charlotte Flair shuffled through her options and ultimately chose WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to battle at the ‘Grandest Stage’. The animosity between the two has been at an all-time high, with personal jabs and chaos will likely ensue when the two meet inside the squared ring.
Before becoming one of the most decorated women in WWE history, Bayley began her wrestling journey on the independent circuit under the name Davina Rose from 2008 to 2012. After signing with WWE in 2012, she found her footing in NXT, where she captured the NXT Women’s Championship in 2015 and quickly became a fan favorite. Her rise continued on the main roster, where she achieved historic milestones, becoming the first-ever Women’s Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam Champion, holding the RAW, SmackDown, and Women’s Tag Team Championships. Bayley’s resume only grew stronger with her victory in the 2019 Money in the Bank ladder match and her record-setting performance in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble, lasting an incredible 1 hour and 3 minutes. With a legacy built on resilience, evolution, and championship gold, Bayley’s presence at WrestleMania has been nothing short of impactful. Let’s take a closer look at her record on WWE’s grandest stage.
Jey Uso won the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match and decided to battle the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at Mania, despite Gunther’s warnings. Jey has been unable to pin Gunther in their previous meeting, which he wants to change and is also looking to win his second World title, while avenging the vicious attack on his brother Jimmy Uso. The rivalry that reingited at the Royal Rumble PLE is now set to main event night one of the PLE as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk are set to battle in a triple-threat match. Additionally, Reigns’ Wiseman, Paul Heyman, is set to be in Punk’s corner, which has things even more complicated, not to mention the pre-existing hatred between the three stars for each other.
According to a report from PWInsider, sources believe the timing of the performance is not just a coincidence, strongly suggesting that Living Colour is indeed in Vegas to play Punk’s entrance. It’s reportedly “99.9% expected” to happen. The 41st edition of the premium live event marks Punk’s first WrestleMania appearance since his return, with his last appearance taking place at WrestleMania 29 in 2013. This was also the time when Living Colour performed for the Second City Saint. Punk battled the Undertaker in a singles match at the 29th edition, however, he was unable to defeat the Deadman, who kept his undefeated streak going until it was later shattered by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30.
